DIRECTING

Satu has written and directed three short films and she served as director/producer and host of a sci-fi entertainment news web series. Additionally, she raised over $13K running the Kickstarter campaign for the 1/2 hour indie TV pilot, Queen Gorya, which directed, and starred in as the title character. She has written a new 1/2 hour rock n' roll TV series, a horror feature, and she is currently writing her first feature that she will direct.

Satu is a graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, New York. She has a lengthy background in the theater, studying drama since the age of 8. She directed her first project at 11 years old: a "Vampire Toothpaste" commercial.

Satu began her entertainment work in college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a B.A. in Communication Studies. While she focused in broadcast journalism, Satu took several film courses in documentary filmmaking, financing, screenwriting, and cinematography. She solidified those skills as a production assistant for Fuse Networks beloved programs: Uranium, Daily Download, IMX, and d'Fused.
